Antarctica 3D: On the Edge
Antarctica lives in our dreams as the most remote, the most forbidding continent on Planet Earth. It is a huge land covered with ice as thick as three miles, seemingly invulnerable, cold and dark for eight months of the year. Yet Antarctica is also a fragile place, home to an incredible variety of life along its edges, arguably the most stunning, breathtaking and still-pristine place on earth. The one constant is that it is constantly changing, every season, every day, every hour. I've been fortunate to travel to Antarctica many times; most recently with 3D cameras, a first for the continent. The result is our new film, Antarctica: On the Edge.
Great White Shark
Misrepresented, maligned and on the verge of extinction, the great white shark is an iconic predator: the creature we love to fear. Great White Shark will explore the great white's place in our imaginations, in our fears and in the reality of its role at the top of the oceanic food chain. The film will concentrate on key aggregation points around the world: Mexico, South Africa, Los Angeles and New Zealand. Key figures in the history of shark research, people whose lives have been changed by contact with the great white, will tell us of their experiences, culminating in a direct encounter between man and shark.
Mwansa the Great

Stripped - S01

Max and His Mother-in-Law
Max gets married, all right, but mother-in-law sticks around. She even follows her daughter, from whom she has never been separated for any length of time, to the railway station, and so anxious is Max to be rid of her that the happy couple forget to change the wedding clothes for traveling garb. Fond mother kisses her daughter good-bye with such fervor that Max, who is in the car already, goes off all by his lonesome when the train starts suddenly. He gets out at the next station, however, and "hoofs it" back. The honeymoon calls for a trip to Chamounix for a round of winter sports and good fun, but Max is forced to invite Ma to go along, too. Skating is the schedule for the first day of their stay, and big, fat mother-in-law also dons the glistening blades. Of course she falls all over herself on the ice and poor Max must cater to her and help her along. He tires of this, however, and she is left to crawl off the ice on all-fours. Sledding down the side of the mountains is next ...
Max and his friend, who came to visit him in Paris both fall in love with his new maid. The girl is very friendly, and while one plays the piano, she dances with the other - and they are so happy that even the decor dances at the rhythm.
La fenêtre ouverte
Max Linder again to the fore as a lover who undertakes to convince Papa that Max is the son-in-law he is going to have. Of course, the girl has decided that no one will do but Max, and with these two agreeable, there is nothing for father to do but comply, although he makes many brave and amusing attempts to avoid losing his daughter to the fickle Max.
Max Plays at Drama
Max is a stage struck youth, and because of a deep-seated desire to go on the stage, refuses to consent to a marriage his father has planned for him. The girl, whom Max has never met, is also stage struck, and entertains no wish of marrying him, though her mother is anxious to see her make the alliance. The parents finally manage to bring the young people together, and they, in turn, exert all their skill in an attempt to disgust each other. An accidental meeting between the two when they are off guard causes them to change their minds, and, as a climax of the scene, we see them gently clasped in each other's arms. The scene following, and the last one, is subtitled, Six Months Later. The girl appears with a baby in her arms in a filthy tenement house. Max enters as a broken-down sport, and demands money from her. She refuses to part with her last cent, and, in the quarrel and struggle that follows, he kills her, and then - the curtain falls and the spectator discovers that he has ...
Max Takes a Bath
Max's First Job
Max Linder's behavior when he applied for a job as a Pathé Frères moving picture actor, was such a good joke on him that it was decided to make a film of the event, and accordingly. Max was called upon to play the lead. He was serious for once in his life, when he offered his services, and to see Max serious is really amusing. The first film for which he posed was '"Mr. Henpeck," and the rough deal he received, caused Max to forget that he was acting, and he turned suddenly upon one of his co-workers, whose duty it was to abuse him, and a rough and tumble fight ensued. The belligerents could not be parted until a stream of water was turned on them, and as soon as he could speak through anger and water, Max resigned, but reconsidered his decision later on, as his many admirers well know.

Mariah Carey: All I Want for Christmas Is You
The World at War: The Making of the Series.
The making of 'The World At War.' Each film in the 26 episode series had to be an essay on an aspect of the war, because the length and separate aspects of the war was far too much to cover in detail. Jeremy Isaacs talks about the production process and the aims of the project. The intention of the crew that were involved with the various skills in making 'The World at War' had no desire to use film from British, German, French, Polish, Russian, Japanese, or the Americans because of their specific means of showing the winning side of a specific action. Rather, an effort was made to interview people who were not part of the establishment, but rather the common people or assistants and secretaries of historical persons. Film was researched for those films from cameras where there was no special subject, but those that would allow the viewer to make their own decisions about what they had just seen and heard. Let the viewer be the judge. Jeremy Isaacs resurrected studies of military ...
